As the FOUNDER AND OWNER OF NAKANAGIS CONSULTING, a company that provides innovative solutions for Indigenous communities and businesses, CAREY CALDER has leveraged 20 years of management experience with her MBA focus area (finding effective efficiencies for NFP organizations) to create positive social and economic impact. She has expertise in organizational development, strategic growth, operational management, negotiations, financial management infrastructure and Indigenous self-determination.
She specializes in building collaborative and supportive work environments, engaging with diverse stakeholders and partners, and fostering innovation and creativity for better community outcomes.
Carey is passionate about empowering Indigenous entrepreneurs and leaders, especially women and youth, and advancing the rights and interests of Indigenous peoples across Canada and beyond.
